Our Summit will be held on June 22-24 at the Courtyard by Marriott DC Convention Center for inspiring talks from our category finalists, deep dives into how to level-up education, opportunities to connect and an evening awards dinner to announce the winners.
We will be filming the talks and deep dives to share with all charter school leaders who are interested in taking the next steps in providing innovative, student-focused, community-minded education.

ABOUT THE BH SUMMIT & AWARDS
Building Hope announces its First Annual slate of $130,000 in grants and a host of additional prizes for charter schools who are making an IMPACT in Community Engagement, Educational Innovation, and Student Empowerment. The Shellie-Ann Braswell “Shine Brighter” Award will also be given to two charter school volunteers who have made an IMPACT on their school’s families.
Finalists will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the 2022 BH IMPACT Summit to work with fellow charter school leaders in deep dive sessions to create a community, learn from each other, and expand the impact of the important work they do. Networking opportunities, special leadership sessions, and one-on-one coaching are also part of the experience, along with the distinction of being the first honored cohort of the Building Hope IMPACT Awards.
The Summit will also be open to Semi-Finalists to attend, and virtual content will be provided post-summit for all applicants, to increase the impact and inspiration of these exemplary leaders.
